YIELD TO THE SPIRIT

YIELD TO THE SPIRIT Romans 8:12-17 Devotional:- “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God” (V. 14) NKJV      Not many in churches today are children of God. They come only to enjoy the goodness of God’s presence. They become committed to the service of God not because they love the Lord but for what they want to get. So, when the going gets tough, they easily turn back. They would question their time of fasting and prayers.

OVERCOMING FRUSTRATION

OVERCOMING FRUSTRATION

John 21:3-11
Devotional:- “Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing” (V. 3) NKJV

One of the terrible experiences of life is frustration. It is always the case when our expectations are defeated. Many are frustrated when matters come to a hopeless situation and they do not really know what to do. That is the reason we need to understand what causes frustration. God has not planned this for us. This only happens when we refuse to take to the wisdom of God or when we are not willing to wait patiently for God’s time and programme.

Let us learn from the story of the disciples we in the scripture today. They were ordained by God to be great evangelists on the earth just like you and I were also ordained. The earth was waiting for their manifestation. After the resurrection, Jesus commissioned them for the great manifestation but ignorance and needs will not make them rise. Peter the leader said, he was going for fishing instead of the work he was called into. The other disciples also joined him because they had the same intention of making money and becoming successful men like other. They were not really coming to the understanding and awareness of what heaven has for them (Hosea 4:6). And eventually they toil without result and come to a point of frustration. Frustration is waiting for everyone who will not be mindful of the calling and purpose of God.

Friend, to overcome this, you need to humble yourself and come back to Jesus. Allowing Him to re-adjust and order your steps. Trust not in your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Appreciate Him for His past deeds in your life. His joy will flow back to you. Let Him have His way in your life. Obey whatever He is asking you to do. And your story will start to change. Weeping will not help. There is a great future ahead of you, be willing to wait till your change comes. You will recover your lost glory and your life will recover speedily.

PRAYER: LORD, STRENGTHEN ME TO LIVE ABOVE FRUSTRATION.

“MEN OF IGNORANCE AND IMPATIENCE ARE EASILY FRUSTRATED”
