  PURPOSE OF HIS FAMILY Ephesians 2:14-22 Devotional:- “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” (V. 19) It is important you know that you are created for fellowship and formed for family. No one can fulfill the purpose of God alone. That is why God created a family for His children called the church. There will belong to one another forever (Rom 12:5). Your earthly family cannot continue to care for you but God has made the church a place for each of us to find love for ever. Please know that the church is not a building it is a group of people who form the body of Christ. The church is an organism and not an organization. One of the first sign of backsliding is when people start to miss fellowship. Whenever we become careless about fellowship every other thing begins to slide too. MIND YOUR BUSINESS 

I Thessalonians 4:9-12
Devotional:- “that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you” (V.11) NKJV

    In the way God created us, we are made to be effective when we learn the act of focus. God’s word says, if your eyes are single your whole body shall be full of light (Matthew 6:22). In other words, you can only be your best when you stay focused. Just like a lens can transfer heat to burn a piece of paper when focused in the direction of the sun, so also, is the strength of your focus.

The Bible instructs us to mind Our business. In other words, avoid distractions. Refuse to allow other things to distract your attention from your calling. You are not called to do everything but the one that you are given must be successful. And that is why you must mind your business.

There are different strategies the enemy will want to employ against us. He could set up people to discourage us; he could use instances or situations. But if we allow our hearts to be fixed on our business, we will not have time for other distracting factors. This Year is for your rising.

PRAYER: LORD, STRENGTHEN ME TO FOCUS ON MY ASSIGNMENT ON EARTH.

“MORE ENERGY IS WASTED WHEN ONE LACKS FOCUS”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
