  PURPOSE OF HIS FAMILY Ephesians 2:14-22 Devotional:- “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” (V. 19) It is important you know that you are created for fellowship and formed for family. No one can fulfill the purpose of God alone. That is why God created a family for His children called the church. There will belong to one another forever (Rom 12:5). Your earthly family cannot continue to care for you but God has made the church a place for each of us to find love for ever. Please know that the church is not a building it is a group of people who form the body of Christ. The church is an organism and not an organization. One of the first sign of backsliding is when people start to miss fellowship. Whenever we become careless about fellowship every other thing begins to slide too. LOVING YOUR WORK

Ecclesiastes 9:7-9
Devotional:- “Go, eat your bread with joy, And drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works” (V. 7) NKJV

    When a man puts diligence into his work, he will earn great wages. Our ability to work is what God has given to us to make our living and fortune. He that is lazy will not be rich (Proverbs 14:23). In this part of the world there is something good about us and that is we believe in working. That is biblical (2 Thessalonians 3:10). But I have found one great evil in the world today. That is, people working but hating their work. Most people do not know that whatever they hate cannot give them its best. This is because they will not put in their best. Very many people hate going to the office, they love pleasure than working. (Proverbs 21:17). I believe this is a misplacement of priority. Working is really pleasurable. This is because it is work that will bring your harvest while the so-called pleasure consumes it.

So many people rejoice when the weekend is approaching and lament when it is over. Research was conducted sometimes ago on some people who died around the same time. This was made on about 2000 of them. It was discovered that 80% of them died between 7.00 am and 9.00 am on Monday morning. And it was discovered that these people died because they hated their jobs. The reason people hate their work is that most people are working for men or money only and not what they enjoy doing. Working for men or money alone will always frustrate you. We should be sure our work is rewarding but not at the expense of our joy. Don’t keep doing a work that you don’t enjoy. When you love your work, you will do it enthusiastically. You will put your best into it. Your products will be different and unique. And you will feel fulfilled in life. Friend, be happy working. Serve with joy, and favour will locate you. Your blessings will pursue and overtake you. It’s your year!

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO STOP HATING MY WORK.

“WHAT YOU HATE CAN NOT PRODUCE ITS BEST FOR YOU”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
