  FAMILY FORUM Hebrew 12:18-29  Devotional:- "to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,” (V.23) NKJV Every lovely family always has what I refer to as family forum. That is a period when the family comes together to care and share with one another. If you are going to enjoy the benefit of such family, you cannot be away and yet be having the best of the place. As a member of the family of God you must as well be regularly available in the fellowship with children of God. The bible refers to it as the church. The church is the body of Christ of which you are one. So deleting yourself from it will not make you enjoy the treatment Jesus the head gives to the body (Ephesians 5:25-30). YOU CAN SUCCEED

Judges 6:11-21
Devotional:- "Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” (V. 14).

    Many people often look at success as something impossible for them. They live as slave to destiny writing off their chances of success. They have a look of failure and are not expecting a better tomorrow. This is a product of long time in the same situation. They have tried and tried to no avail. They seem to have concluded that success is impossible for them.

The angel of the Lord said to Gideon, go and conquer the Midianites. You are a mighty man of valour. The angel spoke according to the Grace he could see upon Gideon but Gideon saw himself as incapable and a failure. He does not have the right view of himself. He does not see what God can do through him (Philippians 4:13).

Friend, there is no one who cannot succeed. We only need to build up to succeed. We only need to work on our attitude and on our mind-set. He who made you did not make you to fail. He packaged you to be able to succeed. The success of others should not intimidate you or make you feel more like a failure. Your experiences are not to stop your life but to guide you out of failure (Hebrews 5:8). God allow you to go through all you’ve been going through is not to make you remain a failure. We are to learn from our failure experiences and grow. We are not to become Mr or Mrs Failure. If you can change your mind-set about yourself and learn right attitude toward life, you will succeed. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the courage to believe in my ability to succeed.

“DON’T GIVE IN TO FAILURE FOR YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
