  SUBMIT TO HIM John 14:12-24  “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (V. 23) NKJV   Sometimes on the platform of love, there is nothing men cannot offer to one another. If you truly love a man you will not want to reject or disobey him. You will want to do as much as it is in your capacity. You will not want to turn him down. Can you imagine how strictly you want to keep to an appointment with a loved one? If we have attached so much importance to responding to our lover, how much more God. If you truly love God it will be natural for you to submit to His will. You will not need to argue or ask too many questions. It will be a pleasure submitting to His will. Jesus said in the scripture we read today, if anyone loves me he will keep my words. In other word he will submit or obey my word. PRICE OF SERVICE

Mark 10: 35-45
Devotional:- "Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant". (V. 43)

    In the language of the world, no one ready wants to be called a servant. It sounds like slavery or a low ranked staff. So the world does not really appreciate the office of a servant. The truth is that no one can succeed without service. It is the act of blessing someone with the gifts, talents and Grace God has given to you. It is willingness to affect others with your life.

Jesus says who ever want to be great should be ready to be a servant. He says service is the route to leadership (Mark 10:44). Service is humbling yourself to be a solution to other people’s problem. To be a solution means you must be able to draw close to the people to diagnose their situation. It demands that you are able to go all the way searching out to help identify the solution to people’s situation.

In the course of doing all of these you are not only working for people but you are really serving God. This is because you allow God to use you to be a solution. The truth is that you are a servant of whomever that is using you. Make up your mind to carry a servant of God mentality and you shall succeed. Peace!

Prayer- Lord, make me a vessel of solution to others

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
