  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. PRICE OF SERVICE

Mark 10: 35-45
Devotional:- "Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant". (V. 43)

    In the language of the world, no one ready wants to be called a servant. It sounds like slavery or a low ranked staff. So the world does not really appreciate the office of a servant. The truth is that no one can succeed without service. It is the act of blessing someone with the gifts, talents and Grace God has given to you. It is willingness to affect others with your life.

Jesus says who ever want to be great should be ready to be a servant. He says service is the route to leadership (Mark 10:44). Service is humbling yourself to be a solution to other people’s problem. To be a solution means you must be able to draw close to the people to diagnose their situation. It demands that you are able to go all the way searching out to help identify the solution to people’s situation.

In the course of doing all of these you are not only working for people but you are really serving God. This is because you allow God to use you to be a solution. The truth is that you are a servant of whomever that is using you. Make up your mind to carry a servant of God mentality and you shall succeed. Peace!

Prayer- Lord, make me a vessel of solution to others

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
