FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD

FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD Romans 5:1-11 Devotional:- “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (V. 10)  As a kingdom citizen please known that God wants to be your best friend. This is because intimacy is part of your act of worship. It is true that God is our maker and redeemer yet he wants to be our friend. Remember we were made to live continually in God’s presence but it is sin that makes us loose that (Gen 3, Roman 3:23)  In our scripture for today we saw that it was grace through the sacrifice of the cross that gives us access to friendship with God (2 Corinthians 5:18). Our friendship with God does not mean casual acquaintance but close and trusted relationships just like the best man in a wedding. In the palace the servant must keep their distance from the king but there are some people in circle of intimate and trusted friends with the king. They enjoy free an...

PRICE OF TENACITY

PRICE OF TENACITY

John 15:1-8
Devotional:- “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (V. 5)

Very many people are struggling to succeed because their life is not stable. They are desperate to succeed and so they move and change course always. Until a man is focused in life, he may not be able to succeed; Tenacity is to stay focus on a particular profession or career.

Jesus says only those who abide in Him can be abundantly fruitful. There is nothing wrong in trying many things to see the one that better work for you. But there is a need for you to know that God has an assignment in mind when He made you. This assignment can be discovered by waiting on the Lord to receive your life vision (Habakkuk 2:1-3). Having discovered the vision of God for your life, stay in it till it works. Nothing will succeed till there is tenacity (2 Kings 2:1-3).

Friend, your vision needs your total and lifetime investment. Your marriages, Your God given vision, Your Christian journey are not what can work quickly like that. Great things need great commitment to succeed. You need to be persistently committed before anything meaningful can give you its best. There is nothing great that succeed overnight. Though not easy but endure and stay in your vision (Matthew 24:13). Then you are in for success. Peace!

Prayer- Lord, strengthen me to wait till I succeed
