  SUBMIT TO HIM John 14:12-24  “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (V. 23) NKJV   Sometimes on the platform of love, there is nothing men cannot offer to one another. If you truly love a man you will not want to reject or disobey him. You will want to do as much as it is in your capacity. You will not want to turn him down. Can you imagine how strictly you want to keep to an appointment with a loved one? If we have attached so much importance to responding to our lover, how much more God. If you truly love God it will be natural for you to submit to His will. You will not need to argue or ask too many questions. It will be a pleasure submitting to His will. Jesus said in the scripture we read today, if anyone loves me he will keep my words. In other word he will submit or obey my word. WAITING FOR STRENGTH

Isaiah 40:25-31
Devotional:- "But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint". (V. 31) 

    In the pursuit of our success, we are bond to face the unexpected. Some challenges that we may not ever envisage, yet when you are strong you will keep driving on. Weaknesses will not be able to stop you or weigh you down. That is why we must learn to renew our strength in our God. When others are down we shall be strong to stand. The word of God says they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.

To wait on the Lord could mean to separate time to receive His guide. To wait on the Lord means to allow Him to guide our path. To wait on the Lord mean to honour God as our source of light and strength. Whenever we wait on the Lord, He will always guide us with His word. He will always reveal His counsel to us. He will always show us the way out.

Friend, you are not made to be strong without God. Always remember that you are a spirit being. When your spirit is disconnected from God you are slipping into weaknesses. God is the all sufficient strength. All power in heaven and earth is giving unto Him. He cannot grow weary or weak. Connecting with Him will make you live above weariness. As a child of God, make it a lifestyle to separate time to be with Him and He will guide you to strength always by the revelation of His words. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to be wise to always wait on you

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
