  JOY IN PRAYERS I Samuel 2:1-10 Devotional:- “And Hannah prayed and said: "My heart rejoices in the LORD; My horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation.” (V. 1) NKJV We often fall into depression when we look around us, and all we see are unanswered prayers. It becomes worse when you are despised and mocked for that thing that you are looking up to God for. Hannah was like that, a depressed and unhappy woman. What was Hannah’s secret that made her proclaim to all that “my heart rejoices in the Lord”? 1. She decided to look away from her oppressor 2. She went to God in prayer, pouring her sorrow to God.  3. She made a vow to give God the child 4. She left the presence of God, believing God answers prayer. Hannah made good her vow, and her joy was full. Are you depressed? Pour your heart to God, make a vow to him, and you will see him answer your prayers and your joy will Come. RUNNING YOUR VISION

1 Corinthians 9:16-24
Devotional:- "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it". (V. 24)

    It is important we know that only those who are pursuing God’s for their lives that will really succeed. Everyone one who wants to succeed have to consciously walk in to success. That is why we need to look into running the God given vision for our lives. If you have a God given vision and you don’t run it, the truth is that it can not run itself.

For you to run with the God’s giving vision for your life, you need to have a clear view of it. God told Habakkuk to make the vision plain i.e. write it clearly on paper. No one can be successful by running with a blunt vison. So, the vision must be specific.  That is, what exactly to run for? How to run with it? Where and when to run? You need to always be in fellowship with God for more and more clarity. The revelation of the will and the way of God will always make you strong enough to keep running. People need to know that the essence of fellowship with God is for their strength (Psalms 84:7, Isaiah 40:31).

Having understood exactly what God want you to do, there is a need to arise by faith and do it; no one will do that for you. All the provisions you need will only come as you keep running the vision. He that watches the cloud will not sow (Ecclesiastics 11:4). You must be committed to your vision and must give it your total attention. You must be consistent. You must be contented with your vision because it may not be what you really like to do but therein lies your future. So be happy running. You will get there in Jesus name. Peace.

Payer: Lord, give me the grace to keep running with your vision for my life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
