  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. WAITING ON HIM FOR DIRECTION

Proverbs 3:1-8
Devotional:- "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths". (V. 6)

    Every son and daughter of God that wants to succeed must understand the aspect of waiting on God for direction. The reason we have to wait on him for direction is because we know that his ways are way of peace (Proverbs 3:17).  Stepping out without direction is laying foundation for frustration. That is why a submissive child of God will always allow God to guide his/her ways. The word of God says we should not depend on our own understanding. In other words, we should not think we know all things. So we are wise when we allow our creator to lead us (Matthew 7:24)

This is not that we don’t have brain but we can make mistake. It is wisdom and humility to allow divine direction (Psalm 25:9-14). Every child of God must therefore learn to wait on God for direction even in little matters. That helps you to cultivate waiting on the Lord as a habit or make it a lifestyle.

Every man has secret to his success. Friend, your success lies in you making God part of your life. Don’t keep claiming to know enough. Too know will lead to too many failure. Humble yourself to act in wisdom. Following people in most cases will lead you astray. People in this part of the world rather follow money than follow wisdom. Leadership of men will take you up a little but God will lift you up forever (1 John 2:17). Get used to asking Him in humility and He will always lead you. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to be humble to ask for your leading.

“WHEN GOD IS YOUR DIRECTOR, SUCCESS IS PREDICTABLE”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
