  LIFTING Psalms 75:1-10 Devotional:- “But God is the judge. He putteth down one and setteth up another.” (V. 7) KJV It is part of God’s act of love to lift up his own people. If you have a privilege be in an office, there is every tendency that you will want use your office to help and lift the people you love, so also is God. He is highly exalted. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the creator of heaven and earth. The bible calls Him the judge, in other word, He rules and decides the case of everyone in heaven and earth. So he is willing to lift you up as the one He loves. In the sovereignty of God, I have seen God demonstrating His love by lifting the unworthy. People like Joseph, David, Solomon, Paul the apostle and a host of others. If you as a child of God enjoy a status now it is part of His good gesture to you. And whatever level you are now, do not be discouraged, for He is still taking you higher. He took Joseph from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41:...

WAITING ON HIM FOR DIRECTION

Proverbs 3:1-8
Devotional:- "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths". (V. 6)

    Every son and daughter of God that wants to succeed must understand the aspect of waiting on God for direction. The reason we have to wait on him for direction is because we know that his ways are way of peace (Proverbs 3:17).  Stepping out without direction is laying foundation for frustration. That is why a submissive child of God will always allow God to guide his/her ways. The word of God says we should not depend on our own understanding. In other words, we should not think we know all things. So we are wise when we allow our creator to lead us (Matthew 7:24)

This is not that we don’t have brain but we can make mistake. It is wisdom and humility to allow divine direction (Psalm 25:9-14). Every child of God must therefore learn to wait on God for direction even in little matters. That helps you to cultivate waiting on the Lord as a habit or make it a lifestyle.

Every man has secret to his success. Friend, your success lies in you making God part of your life. Don’t keep claiming to know enough. Too know will lead to too many failure. Humble yourself to act in wisdom. Following people in most cases will lead you astray. People in this part of the world rather follow money than follow wisdom. Leadership of men will take you up a little but God will lift you up forever (1 John 2:17). Get used to asking Him in humility and He will always lead you. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to be humble to ask for your leading.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
