PEACE

PEACE Proverbs 12:15-25 Devotional:- “Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy” (v.20) NKJV Two virtues often work together, and they are hardly separable; they are peace and joy. You cannot have one without the other. The moment one of them is with you, it will draw the second. This is because they are both products of God’s presence. Wherever the kingdom of God is established either in the house or office, surely peace and joy of the Lord will be present there (Galatians 5:22, Romans 14:17). The scripture we read today said there shall be joy for those who promote peace. Jesus says Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9). And you know that God dwell in the heart of His children (I Corinthians 3:16). You also know that God’s presence commands joy (Psalms 16:11). When you receive God’s grace for joy, peace also follows you. A sorrowful man is a dangerous man. Sorrow promotes violence in the h...

DISCOVER YOUR VISION

DISCOVER YOUR VISION

Habakkuk 2: 1-4
Devotional:- "I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected". (V. 1)

God made each one on the earth to carry out an assignment for him. It is this assignment that we call vision. The word vision has to do with visual. It is a spirit images planted in our mind that becomes our pursuit on earth. Each one who wants to succeed must see the vision of what they are made to carry out on earth (Exodus 26:30). So, vision is insight for a foresight to a destination of achievement.

Habakkuk said I will wait to hear what he wants me to do. And God says to him, write the vision down and make it plain, so that those who read it will run with it. God who made us is the one who knows what we are made for. He said to Jeremiah I have made you a prophet (Jeremiah 1:5). The truth is that life will be a struggle when we are running on a part that is not assigned for us by God.

To receive your vision from God demands that you wait on Him. Create time to wait in a place till your maker reveals to you what He made you to do on earth. The price of waiting in separation, in fasting and praying is a worthy price. Remember it is all about your life and destiny. And God will show you His plan for your destiny. This will make your life to be focused to succeed (Jeremiah 33:3, Jeremiah 29:11). Many have taken their profession for destiny. Our career or businesses in most cases are mere means of income for us to survive. It may never be your sent assignment. Your sent assignment is to affect lives for God. Don’t think it’s too late to start the race of life.  Don’t face eternity without doing what you are created to do. It is better later than never. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, reveal to me my earthly assignment
