SETBACK

SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. This looks like an act of wickedness from God that he was trying to please, but Joseph knew that there is a price for righteo...

TAKING CHARGE.

TAKING CHARGE.

Psalm 115:9-17
The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men (v. 16) NKJV

God made man with a mandate of dominion (Genesis 1:28). Therefore until a man is taking charge of his life he is not fulfilling his destiny. To take charge is to take full responsibility over your life and destiny.  At creation God has delegated the rulership of the earth to man. The word of God says God is in heaven and the earth He has given to men (Psalm 115:16). The message version says He has put us in charge of the earth. This means you and I have to wake up to take charge (Ephesians 5:14). Many are waiting on the Lord and God is waiting on your permission to do things in your life.

Friend, whenever we are praying, we are inviting God to manifest in our lives. If you don’t invite Him He will not trespass (Genesis 6:3). He made you as a free moral agent to choose to invite Him or not. To be able to take charge in all aspect of your life you cannot do without Him (John 15:5). Arise and take responsibility over your health, family, businesses and finances.

Stop pushing all your responsibility to God (Hebrews 11:40). He has a path and you have a path. To take responsibility is to call upon God in Prayers, receive His instruction and direction. Then take steps of faith to do what He has instructed you to do. Stop blaming people but rise up from discouragement and frustration. Take steps of faith and you will begins to win in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, give me the understanding and the ability to take my responsibility

“TO TAKE CHARGE YOU NEED TO ARISE”
