OUR ROCK

OUR ROCK Psalms 18:1-3 Devotional:- Lord is my rock and my fortress and deliverer…” (V.2) One of the love emblems to us is that He is our rock. He is known as the rock of ages. Because He loves us, He is always there for us. Rock is a symbol of strength and confidence. The cleft of the rock is always a beautiful place of refuge. Water from the rock is always pure and cool. As part of His love for us, He has become our rock (I Corinthians 10:4). He is the rock of our salvation, of our peace and protection. The bird eagle lives on the rock above the reach of the enemy. The water on it is refreshing and clean, far above the reach of the dust. The cave of the rock is always very cool and secure, far above the reach of either the arrow of the enemy or the scourging of the sun. This is who Jesus is for us. We may pass through challenges in this world, but we are sure of our victory because the rock is always there for us. He is our trust. He is our stronghold. He will never reject nor ...

FAITH

FAITH

1 Samuel 17:23-32
Devotional:- "Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” (V. 26)

A major factor of strength in every man is faith. Faith is a product of the revelation of the word of God to our spirit man (Romans 10:17). Without faith, no man will rise to achieve anything. Most people envy a successful man but are not always ready to pay the price. Faith is the compulsion in your spirit man to step out.

Faith is the Holy Spirit activating strength in you to carry out the counsel of God. David was been instigated by the Holy spirit through the revelation of the word of God. So he kept repeating the word to himself. “Who is this uncircumcised philistine to defile the army of the living God”? It is the stimulation of this word that pushes David on to action of rising to overcome.

Friend, don’t just keep praying. Prayer is also an avenue to contact the revelation of the power of God (Jeremiah 33:3). In prayer, God shows us the way out. That is why we should be very sensitive to know what God want us to do. Meditating in the word of God also stimulate us with revelation to arise in faith (Daniel 9:1-3). By faith David steps out to terminate Goliath the enemy of God’s people. Stop being afraid to launch out. Meditate to access revelation of His word and you will have faith to rise.

Prayer: Lord, release the faith in me to arise

“NO FAITH, NO RISING, NO RISING, NO SUCCESS”
