LIFTING

LIFTING Psalms 75:1-10 Devotional:- “But God is the judge. He putteth down one and setteth up another.” (V. 7) KJV It is part of God’s act of love to lift up his own people. If you have a privilege be in an office, there is every tendency that you will want use your office to help and lift the people you love, so also is God. He is highly exalted. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the creator of heaven and earth. The bible calls Him the judge, in other word, He rules and decides the case of everyone in heaven and earth. So he is willing to lift you up as the one He loves. In the sovereignty of God, I have seen God demonstrating His love by lifting the unworthy. People like Joseph, David, Solomon, Paul the apostle and a host of others. If you as a child of God enjoy a status now it is part of His good gesture to you. And whatever level you are now, do not be discouraged, for He is still taking you higher. He took Joseph from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41:...

PEACE WITH GOD

PEACE WITH GOD

ScriptureReading: Romans 5:1-11
Devotional:-“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (V.1)

One of the major blessings of the righteous is Peace. A righteous man has three dimensioned of peace. He has peace within, peace with God and peace all around him. This is because righteousness makes a life to be void of trouble. Remember that righteousness is the nature of God. Righteousness is living in the will of God and to please the Lord.

A righteous man is justified before the Lord. That is the sacrifice Jesus offered with His own body on the Cross which has become the price of our justification before God. The price was paid to bridge reconciliation between us and God. This sacrifice having been acceptable to God has made everyone who accepts Jesus as their Saviour to be at peace with God.

Because the way of the righteous pleases the Lord, he also finds peace even with those who hates him (Proverbs 16:7). Friend, you can start to enjoy the peace of God by choosing to live in the righteousness of God. And your life will be void of troubles (Proverbs 11:8). Peace

PRAYER: Lord, make me find peace all around me.

“PEACE WITH GOD WILL BIRTH ALL AROUND PEACE”
