VALUE YOURSELF 1 Peter 2:1-10  Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV If anyone is going to enjoy the love of God, he must see himself as lovely. One of the ways for someone to see themselves as lovely is by valuing themselves. You need to know that of all the creatures of God, not only on earth but also in heaven, you are the most special. According to the word of God, there is no other creature that is as valuable as you are. You are the reason for the labour of the devil (1 Peter 5:8). You are the envy of the demons. You are the envy of the angels. A great percentage of the angels are serving the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). The scripture we read today calls you a chosen one. That is, among the multitude, God selected you out for Himself. You are a royal priesthood, that is, you are a kingly priest...

BETTER AND BRIGHTER

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 4:14-19
Devotional:- “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day” (V.18)

    When a man chooses to live right with God, his life moves in an increasing dimension of light. The word of God says “we know in parts” (1 Corinthians 13:9). That simply tells us that we don't know all things. It is as much as God allows us to know that we can understand.

One of the blessings of choosing to live right with God is that, God reveals deep things to the righteous. Until understanding is giving to a man he will be under. Knowledge does not benefit such. It is understanding that makes man act on wisdom counsel. But when we choose to walk in the righteousness of God, we have better and brighter understanding of the issue of life.

This makes the life of the just to be progressive. The family life, the business and career life of the just will keep getting sweeter and sweeter. I want to encourage you to walk righteously with God. Your path will enjoy sweetness. Your love for Him will always be better and brighter. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, make my life brighter continually.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
