  JOY BEAUTIFIES Proverbs 15:10-20 Devotional:- “A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit” (v.13) NLT It is important that people in this generation realise that joy is one of the secrets of beauty. There is no one who does not love to look beautiful in life; people do so much to preserve their beauty. The truth is that it charms the heart of men. It is a strength for influence. It is a language that both men and women understand. Someone who lacks beauty may also be lacking in the school of favour. Don’t let anyone deceive you that it is not necessary to be beautiful. In this world, the way you look determines the way you will be treated (1 Samuel 16:7). We only need to identify true and godly beauty. God’s word says, “Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!” (Proverbs 31:30) AMPC. CHOOSING RIGHTEOUSNESS

Scripture Reading: Daniel 1:1-9
Devotional:- “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” (V8)

    As a child of God, you will need the grace of God to always choose the path of righteousness. The system and pattern of the world make it difficult to be able to choose to obey God in every situation. But because we must not miss out on God, we therefore need to know what will help us in our choices.

Looking at the factors that help Daniel and his friends to choose not to defile themselves in Babylon, the first is the fact that they have given themselves to studying and meditating in the word of God. (Daniel 9:2; Joshua 1:8). It is what you give yourself to study that you will meditate on. It is what you meditate on that you find yourself acting on. The second factor is their determination to remain in the path of righteousness. The Holy Spirit will be willing to help you when He sees the desires of your heart for God The third factor is the fellowship or the company you keep (Psalm 1:1). They were all Hebrew in the palace and keep their fellowship together. Many believers today make the fellowship with the children of God to be secondary in their lives. We need to watch this. 

Friend, your church fellowship is the place of your strength (Psalm 84:7). Any of us can be busy but you will not be busy that you will not eat for a week, if it is not dry fasting. Watch out not to allow gap between you and God. Then you will be able to keep choosing the path and of righteousness. Peace

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
