  LIVING WTH VISION Proverbs 29:17-25  Devotional:- “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he” (v. 18) KJV People may not be able to enjoy the best of God’s love until they live with a vision. God only releases provision for a vision. If you have your vision of life, and you are ready to pursue it, then you can be too sure of a glorious tomorrow. This is because God will do everything to see to the fulfilment of your vision. All God-given visions are capable of building a great destiny. Vision is an insight into the plan and programme of God for your life. Since it has to do with insight, it can only be revealed or unfolded. So it will take waiting on the Lord to receive the revelation of God concerning your life (Habakkuk 2:1). Waiting here simply means consciously standing in God’s presence to see into His mind for you. God’s vision for His children are in dieverse ways. CHOOSING RIGHTEOUSNESS

Scripture Reading: Daniel 1:1-9
Devotional:- “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” (V8)

    As a child of God, you will need the grace of God to always choose the path of righteousness. The system and pattern of the world make it difficult to be able to choose to obey God in every situation. But because we must not miss out on God, we therefore need to know what will help us in our choices.

Looking at the factors that help Daniel and his friends to choose not to defile themselves in Babylon, the first is the fact that they have given themselves to studying and meditating in the word of God. (Daniel 9:2; Joshua 1:8). It is what you give yourself to study that you will meditate on. It is what you meditate on that you find yourself acting on. The second factor is their determination to remain in the path of righteousness. The Holy Spirit will be willing to help you when He sees the desires of your heart for God The third factor is the fellowship or the company you keep (Psalm 1:1). They were all Hebrew in the palace and keep their fellowship together. Many believers today make the fellowship with the children of God to be secondary in their lives. We need to watch this. 

Friend, your church fellowship is the place of your strength (Psalm 84:7). Any of us can be busy but you will not be busy that you will not eat for a week, if it is not dry fasting. Watch out not to allow gap between you and God. Then you will be able to keep choosing the path and of righteousness. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me to keep my consistency with you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
