HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

CLEAR DIRECTION

CLEAR DIRECTION

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 11:1-6
Devotional:- “The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way aright, But the wicked will fall by his own wickedness” (V.5)

God did not make man to live without Him. That is why one of the vital needs of our life is divine direction. Each one must therefore learn how to be directed by the Lord. The word of God says “the way of a man is not in himself” (Jeremiah 10:23). God do not expect you to be directing yourself. He wants us to ask Him for direction in all things (Proverbs 3:5-6). The world will tell you to direct your way. But God made you and is been guiding you from the womb till the end (Isaiah 46:3-4).

The word of God says “righteousness directs the way aright”. This is by been humble to allow God to lead you (Psalm 25:9) In righteousness, a man will submit to God till he will be lead to his allocation (1 Peter 5:6). The heart of the righteous always wants to do the will of God. He wants to be where God want him to be, doing what God want him to be doing and how God want him to do it.

This is how the righteous will always be lead to his blessings (Isaiah 48:17). Choose God as your shepherd from today. He will always lead you to your blessing (Psalms 23:1-3). He will go before you and level mountains (Isaiah 45:2-5). He will work through you and your life will keep going up (Mark 16:20). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, be my shepherd from today

“WHEN GOD IS AT WORK WITH YOU, THEN NO FAILURE“
