  LOVE OF GOD I John 4:7-19 Devotional:- “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God” (V. 7) NIV You can hardly separate these two virtues; they are love and joy. They work together as twin brothers. You cannot love and not be joyful. In this season of joy, one of the things you must give room to for your joy to come is love. If you were not billing to love, you may not see joy. They have the same source; they both come from God (Psalm 16:11, 1 John 4:8) The scripture we read today said, Love comes from God and love is God. This means God cannot be in you and you can still hate. If you do, it is a sign that you are not born of God. You cannot be stealing and cheating, and you say you are a child of God. RIGHTNESS & RIGHTEOUSNESS

Scripture Reading: Colossians 2:11-23
Devotional:- “These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh” (V 23)

    It is important you know that something may look right but it is not equal to righteousness. Someone may be so nice but as long as he does accept the righteousness of God though Christ, he cannot be righteous. The word of God says all our righteousness is like filthy rag before God. (Isaiah 64:6). 

The righteousness of God is when a man has right standing with God. He has made a provision for man to find Him through His son Jesus. That is why those who reject Jesus cannot by moral standard be righteous before God (John 3:17-18). This is important that you and I must know that we have to keep ministering the gospel to every unbeliever around us.

To have a right standing with God, everyone must accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. That is the standard of God for righteousness. It is not by buying something for the church that you gain righteousness. Of course, whenever we do that for the Lord, He will reward us. But beyond reward is our soul been acceptable before Him. Jesus is not a founder of a religion. He is the way to the father (John14:6). In other word He is the one that connects us to the father and we must remain connected by our continuous relationship with God to grow in the nature of God. If the gospel is not ministered to the house of Cornelius, his alms will be rewarded but his soul will not be SAVED (Act 10:3-6). Check your ways with God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, keep me save in Christ Jesus.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
