  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. RIGHTNESS & RIGHTEOUSNESS

Scripture Reading: Colossians 2:11-23
Devotional:- “These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh” (V 23)

    It is important you know that something may look right but it is not equal to righteousness. Someone may be so nice but as long as he does accept the righteousness of God though Christ, he cannot be righteous. The word of God says all our righteousness is like filthy rag before God. (Isaiah 64:6). 

The righteousness of God is when a man has right standing with God. He has made a provision for man to find Him through His son Jesus. That is why those who reject Jesus cannot by moral standard be righteous before God (John 3:17-18). This is important that you and I must know that we have to keep ministering the gospel to every unbeliever around us.

To have a right standing with God, everyone must accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. That is the standard of God for righteousness. It is not by buying something for the church that you gain righteousness. Of course, whenever we do that for the Lord, He will reward us. But beyond reward is our soul been acceptable before Him. Jesus is not a founder of a religion. He is the way to the father (John14:6). In other word He is the one that connects us to the father and we must remain connected by our continuous relationship with God to grow in the nature of God. If the gospel is not ministered to the house of Cornelius, his alms will be rewarded but his soul will not be SAVED (Act 10:3-6). Check your ways with God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, keep me save in Christ Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
