ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. He said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8). The truth is that you are gu...

JUSTIFICATION

JUSTIFICATION

Scripture Reading: Romans 3:21-26
Devotional:- “But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,” (V. 24)

To be justified is to be declared just or righteous before God. The word justification is a legal term used for someone that was first suspected, arrested and accused as an offender (Romans 3:23). When the court session and the judge is sited, they will attempt on go deeper into the case of the accused.

After going through all the relevant evidences that the accused person did not commit that said of fence, the judge now declare the accused justified. That he is free and can no longer be accused of committing the crime. Our accuser before God is devil (Revelation 12:7-10). Jesus is our advocate, our lawyer who stood in the gap for us before God (1 John 2:1). It is Jesus that pays His life as a ransom for our life. He took all our accusation to the cross and cancelled them totally by His blood (Colossians 2:14).  He disarms the power accusing us and justified us. (Colossians 2:15).

Now we are justified freely by faith. We have been made to be at peace with God through Jesus (Romans 5:1). We have been adopted into the beloved of God through Christ Jesus (Galatians 4:4-5). This is the reason we have the right to put on the nature and the righteousness of our father through Christ Jesus. Now, we are free before God. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me never to be entangled by sin anymore.

“JUSTIFICATION GIVES US FREEDOM FROM THE DEVIL AND FREEDOM TO GOD”
