VALUE YOURSELF 1 Peter 2:1-10  Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV If anyone is going to enjoy the love of God, he must see himself as lovely. One of the ways for someone to see themselves as lovely is by valuing themselves. You need to know that of all the creatures of God, not only on earth but also in heaven, you are the most special. According to the word of God, there is no other creature that is as valuable as you are. You are the reason for the labour of the devil (1 Peter 5:8). You are the envy of the demons. You are the envy of the angels. A great percentage of the angels are serving the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). The scripture we read today calls you a chosen one. That is, among the multitude, God selected you out for Himself. You are a royal priesthood, that is, you are a kingly priest...

CELEBRATION

Scripture Reading:Proverbs 10:27-32

Devotional:- “The hope of the righteous will be gladness,But the expectation of the wicked will perish” (V.28)

   When a man chooses to live in the righteousness of God in all his situations, his challenges will always result to testimonies and celebration. This is because he will depend on God who does not put to shame (Psalm 22:5). A righteous man may face many challenges, but the Lord will deliver him from it all (Psalm 34:19)

The challenge of choosing to live a righteous life is that you have to wait and trust the Lord in all situations. Others could choose a short cut or go through the other way. But the righteous will trust in the Lord and God will give him a reason to celebrate at last.

Friend, choosing the way of righteousness makes your hope to turn to gladness and celebration. And you will not be put to shame. The devil will always make man to feel there is no hope in God for relationship or businesses. This is because the situation may look delaying and hopeless, but choosing to do the will of God notwithstanding will at the end turn to our testimony. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be able to hope in you in hopeless time.

“JOY AND GLADNESS WILL BE THERESULT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
