HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

IN CHRIST

IN CHRIST

Scripture Reading: Colossians 3:11
Devotional:- “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God” (V3)NKJV

When the Bible says we are in Christ, it means, we are putting on the nature of Christ Jesus. This demands a strong commitment on our side to abide in Him. To live in Christ is to be committed to do His will in all that we do. When we become committed to be in Christ, the Holy Spirit is always available to help us.

God’s word says, as children of the living God, our life is hidden in Christ in God. This is putting on Christ. This is wearing the righteousness nature of God. When we abide in Him, then anytime God sees us, He doesn’t see our human nature that is not qualify to stand before Him, rather He see His nature (His righteousness). That is why He can hear our prayers and our worship.

In the other way, the righteousness of God makes devil and his host not to touch us (Job 1:8-10). This is because when they see us, they see Jesus and not us. That is why your life is untouchable for the devil (Zechariah 2:5). This is the reason you must be committed to a life of righteousness. It is too dangerous to be out of Christ. Keep your consistency with Christ and your life will be preserved here and eternity. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to be out of you.

“TO BE IN CHRIST IS TO BE OUT OF REACH OF THE ENEMY”
