HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

NO CONDEMNATION

NO CONDEMNATION

Scripture Reading: Romans 8:1-4
Devotional:- “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” (V.1)

A major weapon the devil uses against many Christians today is condemnation. Condemnation is an act of making someone to feels unfit to stand before God. This is where the devil is a specialist (Revelation 12:10). He does this by reminding people of their past mistakes and errors before God and making man feel that God has forgotten him.

The word of God says “if a man be in Christ, there is no more condemnation for him” This is possible when we keep growing in the nature of God and no more in the flesh (Romans 8:1).This is possible when we always call to mind that Jesus shed His blood to pay for our righteousness in God. The consciousness of this gives us the courage to stand before God and to resist the forces of condemnation.

Friend, no condemned person can stand to receive anything from God. The word of God said “we should cone boldly to the throne of Grace” (Hebrew 4:16). It is then we can obtain mercy for help. If you live consciously in the righteousness purchased for you on the Cross and keep obeying His words, you will live above condemnation. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me grace to live above condemnation.

“A CONDEMNED SOUL IS NOT FIT TO STAND BEFORE GOD”
