SANCTIFICATION

To be sanctified is to be set apart as holy unto the Lord. If any child of God shall remain in the righteousness of Christ, he must be sanctified unto the Lord. This is an act of seeing self as separated and different from the commons to the Lord (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
To be sanctified is not to start to live an isolated life but to see ourselves different from the worldly (John 15:19; John 17:15-16). We are different because the Spirit in us is different to the one in the world (1 John 3:8-9; Romans 8:9). So, we are able by the help of the Holy Spirit to bear the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
To be sanctified is possible when a child of God is studying and meditating on the word of God regularly (Psalm119:9). It is as we purge our mind by the word of God (Ephesians 5:26) and our mind stored the word that our thought and talk become different by the word of God (John 17:17-19). If anyone call him/herself a child of God and does not study the word of God, he cannot have the behaviour of God. He will compromise at the face of persecution. Only those who are sanctified unto God are children of God. Peace.
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to be sanctified unto you.
