HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

YOU ARE FROM GOD

YOU ARE FROM GOD

Colossians 1:9-18
Devotional: “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” (V. 16)

One of the greatest troubles of human life is people living out of their purpose. Until you find your purpose and fit into it, life will continue to be a struggle. Locating the meaning of human life is one of the greatest adventure someone can embark on. This is because when the purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable. That is why the human life is so abused today.

As God’s kingdom citizens, finding the purpose of life and the meaning of life becomes easier when we source for it from the word of God. The best purpose of a product is known by the maker. To locate our purpose on earth, we must begin with our maker. The word of God says God made the heavens and the earth [Genesis 1:1].  In the same chapter of the Bible, the word of God says God made man in his own image and likeness [Genesis 1:26-27]. In this scripture God made His intention known for making man, which was part of His original intention.

Friends, since you didn’t make yourself, you cannot determine your purpose [Psalm 100:3, Job 31:15]. That is why you can only discover your purpose by relating with God through Christ. God was thinking about you before you were made and without your consent [Jeremiah 1:5]. God design your life for Himself, your life is not about you. Before you finish reading this book I believe you will discover your purpose in Jesus name. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to see clearly in you the purpose of my life.
