  CHILDREN OF GOD I John 3:1-3  Devotional:- “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him” (V.1) NKJV One of the unique things on earth is that, each one belongs to one family or the other. Some are from a great family, their name sounds great, and others are from a family that is not well-known. The truth is that, the lineage each of us belongs to, sometimes speaks and shows in our live. Those who are seen as children of great people in the world are often counted as privileged. But the scripture we read today is aimed at making you appreciate the privilege of being a child of God. It doesn’t matter whether you are born into a great family on earth or not. God has decided to bestow His love on you by calling you His child (Galatians 4:7). This is the greatest family in heaven and earth. The moment you are born again, you are born of God (John 1:12). MADE TO SERVE GOD 

1 Corinthians 3:5-17
Devotional – “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT)


    God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service.

It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose. 

God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. It is service that gives value to your life (2 Timothy 1:9). Ministry is not only for pastors but for all members of the body of Christ. We are not to sit and wait for heaven, we are saved to serve other. To serve others and God with your profession is to use it to solve problems.

You are not only saved but called to serve God. Your call to salvation include your call to service (Matthew 11:28-30).  One of the reasons you need to connect to the church family is to serve other believers to fulfill your purpose. Some ministries are hidden and some are open but all are the same before the Lord. Small or hidden ministries often make the biggest difference. You are in that church to contribute a major part. Stop being self-centered. God commanded you to serve (Matthew 20:25-26). Remember, you will only be rewarded in eternity for your service here. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me not to fail you in my work

“STUDYING WITHOUT SERVING WILL LEAD TO SPIRITUAL STAGNATION”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
