  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). MADE TO SERVE GOD 

1 Corinthians 3:5-17
Devotional – “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT)


    God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service.

It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose. 

God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. It is service that gives value to your life (2 Timothy 1:9). Ministry is not only for pastors but for all members of the body of Christ. We are not to sit and wait for heaven, we are saved to serve other. To serve others and God with your profession is to use it to solve problems.

You are not only saved but called to serve God. Your call to salvation include your call to service (Matthew 11:28-30).  One of the reasons you need to connect to the church family is to serve other believers to fulfill your purpose. Some ministries are hidden and some are open but all are the same before the Lord. Small or hidden ministries often make the biggest difference. You are in that church to contribute a major part. Stop being self-centered. God commanded you to serve (Matthew 20:25-26). Remember, you will only be rewarded in eternity for your service here. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me not to fail you in my work

“STUDYING WITHOUT SERVING WILL LEAD TO SPIRITUAL STAGNATION”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
