CHOICE OF JOY Acts 16:20-30 Devotional:- “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” (V.25) NKJV So many people in this world have not woken up to the fact that the way they live is their choice. One of the greatest errors is to think that the situation a man finds himself, is the determining factor of his life. This is not true. Please come to an awareness of this truth from now on: that you are living as you have chosen to live. Get to know that you are a creature of choice. Whatever your choice is, that is your lot. God chooses no evil for anyone in life (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you are happy or not, whether you are rich or not, whether you are healthy or not, it is your choice; if you decide otherwise from now and stand by your decision, things will change for you. MADE TO SERVE GOD 

1 Corinthians 3:5-17
Devotional – “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT)


    God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service.

It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose. 

God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. It is service that gives value to your life (2 Timothy 1:9). Ministry is not only for pastors but for all members of the body of Christ. We are not to sit and wait for heaven, we are saved to serve other. To serve others and God with your profession is to use it to solve problems.

You are not only saved but called to serve God. Your call to salvation include your call to service (Matthew 11:28-30).  One of the reasons you need to connect to the church family is to serve other believers to fulfill your purpose. Some ministries are hidden and some are open but all are the same before the Lord. Small or hidden ministries often make the biggest difference. You are in that church to contribute a major part. Stop being self-centered. God commanded you to serve (Matthew 20:25-26). Remember, you will only be rewarded in eternity for your service here. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me not to fail you in my work

“STUDYING WITHOUT SERVING WILL LEAD TO SPIRITUAL STAGNATION”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
