  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. MADE TO GLORIFY GOD

Revelation 4:1-11
Devotional “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created” (V11)


    The first major purpose of your life is to bring glory to God [Isaiah 43:21]. That is why it is built into your sub-conscious mind to worship. When you understand the place of worshipping God in all things, you will no longer feel insignificant. Bringing glory and pleasure to God is what we called worship. God is always happy with those who worship Him [Psalm 147:11]. Please note that anything you do to bring glory, honour or pleasure to God is an act of worship. We are wired by God to worship. If you don’t worship God, you will worship yourself.

We often see some things as worship and others as none. We think we go to worship service but worship is more than just been in the church. It is a life style. Worship is more than music or a particular style of music. To some people when the music is slow down, it is worship and when it is fast, it is praises. But worship is far more than music. Worship has nothing to do with style or volume or speed of a song. God loves all kind of music because, He invented it all through us [Philippians 2:13]. You may not like all the songs but God does. The moment it is sang in Spirit and truth [John 4:23-24].

You also need to know that worship is not for our benefit or enjoyment but it belongs to God. That is why we don’t worship for our pleasure but for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11). Worship is your life. It is not just church service or songs, it is all you do. That is why we are told to worship God continually [Psalm 113:3, 34:1]. Every activities can be transformed to worship, when you do it for the praise, honour and glory of God [1 Cor. 10:31]. This is when you do it with an intention to bring glory to God. This happen in your thinking as you do anything you are doing. This is when you do all things as though for God and for His Glory [Colossians 3:23]. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me a heart of continual worship

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
