  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. MAKING GOD HAPPY

Numbers 6:22-27
Devotional:- "May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you" (V25 NLT)

    One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time [Job 1:8]. Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation [Genesis 6:8]. We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him.

To make God happy, we must love Him supremely [Luke 14:26]. No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him [Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9]. To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Noah trusted Him and built an arc even on a dry land [Hebrew 11:7]. Though, he had never seen rain before yet believed God and trusted Him completely. Trusting God is an act of worship.

We make God happy, when we obey Him wholeheartedly [Genesis 6:22]. We make God happy, when we praise and thank Him continually [Psalm 69:30-31]. We make God happy, when we use our ability. Every human activity except sin can make God happy when it is with the attitude of praises. God is happy, when He sees us using our abilities for His glory [Psalm 33:15]. You bring glory to God by been you. God is happy, when you enjoy His creation [1Timothy 6:17]. God is happy, when your motive and motivation is love. Make it your goal to make God happy and you will be happy. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, make me an instrument for your joy and glory.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
