FAITHFULNESS   Luke 16:1-13 Devotional:- “And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own?” (V. 12) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional FAITHFULNESS Support Us Luke 16:1-13 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Our present generation think unfaithfullness is more profitable than faithfulness. They seem to have forgotten that God is still in control of the affairs of men (Daniel 4:17). True lifting comes from Him. Whoever jumps up will always come down, but if you gradually grow up, you will remain at the top (Psalm 25:6–7). All attempts to climb through unfaithfulness are nothing but self-deceit, and the falling shall be great, Jesus says. Before your own possession can be handed over to you, you must be faithful in that which belongs to another, if not, the la...

BECOMING LIKE CRIST

BECOMING LIKE CRIST

ROM 8:18-30
DEV:- “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His son, that He might be the first born among many brethren” (V.29)

The third purpose of your life is to become like Christ. From the very beginning God intend to make man to be like Himself (Gen 1:26). So like God, we are made a spirit and our spirit lives the body. We are intellectual, we can think and solve problems. We are relational, i.e. we can give and receive love. We also have a moral conscience to discern right from wrong which make us accountable to God.

God’s ultimate goal for you on earth is not comfort but character. He wants you to grow up and become like Christ. This does not mean losing your personality. Christlikeness is all about transforming your character and not your personality. Every time you forget that character development is the reason you are here you frustrate yourself. So, life is quite challenging because God is always attempting to mold us. Remember you are existing for God.

For us to be Christ-like, we must cooperate with the work of the holy spirit in us. Character reformation happen when you obey God no matter the condition. Character reformation happen when you change the way you think to the way of the word of God. Consciously put on the character of Christ by developing new godly habits (Ephesians 4:24). Realize God use his word, people, circumstances to mold us. If you study and apply the word of God, fellowship regularly with other believers and learn to trust God in difficult times, you will become like Christ. God often prefer to work through people to make us value fellowship and growing together. Growth is always very slow but God wants you to endure in it to grow. Peace!

Prayer – Lord, help me to always yield to your word.

“IT IS YOUR CHARACTER NOT YOUR CAREER THAT MAKE YOU OF ETERNAL VALUE”
