  JOYFUL HOME Matthew 7:21-29 Devotional:- “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock” (V. 24) NKJV   If Anyone wants a joyful home, they must understand that the home has to be built on a solid rock. This rock is Christ (1 Corinthians 10:3-4). It will be possible to build our home on this rock if we allow the wisdom of the word of God to be the guide of our teaching, training the children and ruling our home (Proverb 22:6). Our home is likened to a building that has to be organized bit by bit to stand firm and strong in Christ. That is why you need to take good time to share God’s word with your family daily till it becomes their lifestyle. Don’t be deceived by the busy schedule of today’s world. FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY

HEBREWS 2:5-18
Devotional – “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (v.10)


    The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family [1 John 3:1] God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever [Ephesians 1:5] NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship [1 John 4:7-8]. The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. Every human is created by God but not everyone is a member of His family. A man or a woman can only become a member of God’s family when they are born again. You become part of human family by your first birth but you become part of God’s family by your second birth [1 Peter 1:3, Galatians 3:26].

Your spiritual family is more important because it is eternal. As soon as you become a member of God’s family you are given great birthday gift; the family name, the family looks, family privilege, family intimate access and the family inheritance [Galatians 4:7, Ephesians 1:18], these are all for you. This world is not eternal but you will be with God forever [2 Thess. 5:10]. You will be changed to be like Christ. We will be free from all pains and death [Rev. 21:4]. We will be rewarded and given new position of service [Mark 9:41]. We shall share in Christ’s glory [Rom. 8:17]. Water baptism is a celebration of your new glorious family and that is why you have to celebrate it. Peace.

PRAYER; Lord, thank you for making me a member of your family

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
