  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING 

1 Corinthians 13:1-13
Dev “Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love”. (v.13)


    In belonging to God and his family the most important thing is love. Because God is love and the most important lesson He wants us to learn is how to love. It is in loving that we look like Him. Loving makes you obey all the laws of God [Gal. 5:14]. God wants us to love everyone but particularly members of His family [1 Pet 2:17]. A major reason God wants us to specially love members of His family is because He wants His family to be known for love more than any other thing [John 13:35]. God want us to be in regular close fellowship with other believers because you cannot develop the skill of love in isolation. To learn to love you must be around imperfect, frustrating and people of different characters.

Love should be your richest priority in life. Love should always be your motive and your motivation in all you do [1 Corinthians 14:1] .This is because life without love is worthless [1 Corinthians 13:3]. Love gives you a heart for people, it gives you people to affect with your life, it is love that makes you important and it gives you good seed for good harvest. Love should be number one in our heart because only love will last forever [1 Corinthians 13:13]. It gives you lasting legacy in the heart of people. Love should be most important to us because we shall be evaluated and rewarded in heaven based on how many life we love. Spiritual maturity is measured by the quality of your relationship [Matt 25:40, Gal 5:6]. 

To make love your priority you must give it time, for time is life. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life [1 John 3:18]. Growing relationship takes time and best way to spell love is time. Love means sacrificing my comfort, goals, security, money, for others. You can give without loving but you can’t love without giving. Peace. 

PRAYER—Lord, give me a true heart of love.

“LIFE MINUS LOVE IS EQUAL TO ZERO”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
