  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING 

1 Corinthians 13:1-13
Dev “Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love”. (v.13)


    In belonging to God and his family the most important thing is love. Because God is love and the most important lesson He wants us to learn is how to love. It is in loving that we look like Him. Loving makes you obey all the laws of God [Gal. 5:14]. God wants us to love everyone but particularly members of His family [1 Pet 2:17]. A major reason God wants us to specially love members of His family is because He wants His family to be known for love more than any other thing [John 13:35]. God want us to be in regular close fellowship with other believers because you cannot develop the skill of love in isolation. To learn to love you must be around imperfect, frustrating and people of different characters.

Love should be your richest priority in life. Love should always be your motive and your motivation in all you do [1 Corinthians 14:1] .This is because life without love is worthless [1 Corinthians 13:3]. Love gives you a heart for people, it gives you people to affect with your life, it is love that makes you important and it gives you good seed for good harvest. Love should be number one in our heart because only love will last forever [1 Corinthians 13:13]. It gives you lasting legacy in the heart of people. Love should be most important to us because we shall be evaluated and rewarded in heaven based on how many life we love. Spiritual maturity is measured by the quality of your relationship [Matt 25:40, Gal 5:6]. 

To make love your priority you must give it time, for time is life. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life [1 John 3:18]. Growing relationship takes time and best way to spell love is time. Love means sacrificing my comfort, goals, security, money, for others. You can give without loving but you can’t love without giving. Peace. 

PRAYER—Lord, give me a true heart of love.

“LIFE MINUS LOVE IS EQUAL TO ZERO”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
