  SPIRIT OF JOY Galatians 5:16-26 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” (v.22) NKJV For all men to experience an ever-flowing joy, we must first possess the spirit of joy. God is the source of joy. When He is in a man, He brings His joy along (Psalm 16:11). Since God is a Spirit, He can only be with men by dwelling in them. When the spirit of God dwells in a man, he will experience unlimited joy. One of the most neglected exercises in the church is people receiving the Holy Spirit. Most Christians look for one excuse or the other to neglect the Holy Spirit in their life. Sometimes people feel the Holy Spirit is not that necessary. Some people feel it is an old way of following the Lord. But you need to know that if you lack the Spirit of God, God’s word says that you are none of His own (Romans 8:9). THE MOST IMPORTANT THING 

1 Corinthians 13:1-13
Dev “Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love”. (v.13)


    In belonging to God and his family the most important thing is love. Because God is love and the most important lesson He wants us to learn is how to love. It is in loving that we look like Him. Loving makes you obey all the laws of God [Gal. 5:14]. God wants us to love everyone but particularly members of His family [1 Pet 2:17]. A major reason God wants us to specially love members of His family is because He wants His family to be known for love more than any other thing [John 13:35]. God want us to be in regular close fellowship with other believers because you cannot develop the skill of love in isolation. To learn to love you must be around imperfect, frustrating and people of different characters.

Love should be your richest priority in life. Love should always be your motive and your motivation in all you do [1 Corinthians 14:1] .This is because life without love is worthless [1 Corinthians 13:3]. Love gives you a heart for people, it gives you people to affect with your life, it is love that makes you important and it gives you good seed for good harvest. Love should be number one in our heart because only love will last forever [1 Corinthians 13:13]. It gives you lasting legacy in the heart of people. Love should be most important to us because we shall be evaluated and rewarded in heaven based on how many life we love. Spiritual maturity is measured by the quality of your relationship [Matt 25:40, Gal 5:6]. 

To make love your priority you must give it time, for time is life. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life [1 John 3:18]. Growing relationship takes time and best way to spell love is time. Love means sacrificing my comfort, goals, security, money, for others. You can give without loving but you can’t love without giving. Peace. 

PRAYER—Lord, give me a true heart of love.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
