NEVER FORGOTTEN

NEVER FORGOTTEN Isaiah 49:13-23  Devotional:- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (V. 15) NKJV Delays in some situations of life could sometimes make one feel forgotten. This could make anyone feel neglected and hated. Have you ever been in a situation where everyone was served but you alone were forgotten? This could bring a big embarrassment. But God cannot make such a mistake. Before He began serving, you were the one in His mind. His mind is filled with the memory of your love.  The scripture we read today says, even if a mother forgets to nurse her child, which I think is impossible, God said He cannot forget you. If a woman, for example, is far away from a child which has not been weaned, two of them will not find it easy. The baby will soon be crying, and the mother’s breast will soon be heavy and painful. Friend, God can never forget you. That is why He said He ...

Numbers 33:1-10
Devotional:- “They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians” (v. 3) NKJV

When God is ready to set someone free, He will first render His enemy powerless. This is because the enemy never intended for anyone to be free. When the devil captivates a person, he subjects him/her to eternal bondage. He may even have some individuals watching over him to prevent anyone from setting him free. Such was the devil’s plan for the children of Israel in the land of Egypt. However, when it was time for God to liberate them, He first weakened the hand of the Egyptians, enabling Him to set His people free.

The most striking part of the story is that which we read in our scripture today: the same Egyptians who had oppressed the Israelites now watched as the Israelites marched out, and they were unable to stop them.

This year you are matching out of captivity. It will be with boldness and in full view of your enemy, and there shall be nothing they will be able to do. God is removing their strength now. And you are gallantly rising. See, this is your year of freedom; stop looking back to your days of captivity; it is over now. Whatever good you’ve not been able to do in years past, from now on, you shall do them. In the sight of your enemy, you shall rise and prosper. God has removed their teeth. They can neither stop nor harm you anymore.

The strategy of the devil is to keep you in the memories of the past, that is why the Bible instructs you to forget the former things (Isaiah 43:18-19). Be sure you only see and keep in your mind what the word of God is saying about you. Even now your liberty and progress will be their joy because the Lord shall terrify them, and any step they take against you will lead to loss and trouble in their lives. They shall leave you alone, and you shall progress. If only you could believe, it’s God’s time for your freedom. Your sorrows are over.

PRAYER: LORD, GRANT ME COMPLETE RELEASE THIS YEAR.
