This is the reason why many cannot demonstrate genuine love to others. It is time you begin to understand that your value is not comparable. Envy is an emotional act people put on when they feel someone is better than them. Envy is always the mother of negative jealousy. It breeds bitterness and pushes people to commit all kinds of crimes. Some people’s reason for being armed robbers is that since they could not make it legitimately, they must go and get it by force from the hands of those who have made it. OVER TAKING

I King 18:41-46
Devotional:- “Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel” (V. 46) NKJV

    This is one of the most spectacular season of your life. This is because you will overtake many things in your life. Sometimes, as men in the flesh, the enemy makes us see the lives of people around us and makes us see how progressive they are. And instead of us rejoicing and thanking God with them, the devil makes it result in our sorrow. This is because he makes us see it as though we are backward. But this is a thought of immaturity because you don’t use someone else's time to run your race in life.

I have this good news for you: you are overtaking all who have gone ahead of you this year. You need to know every man has his greatest speed when his time comes. It’s your time of lifting and favour. In the scripture we read today, we see God releasing anointing to overtake on Elijah. The hand of the Lord came upon him, and he ran ahead of the king on the chariot.

This year the hand of the Lord is upon you. He is anointing you now for speed. And He shall make you run ahead of your mockers. And your glory shall be seen in beauty. Your wedding is now, if only you will believe. Your flight is now. This year you are purchasing and building. His hand is upon you for glory. You must learn to wait on Him (Isaiah 40:31). This is by asking Him for what step to take in every situation. And you shall operate with divine strength. Your life is moving faster than ever. You shall see His glory.

PRAYER: LORD, STRENGTHEN ME TO OVERTAKE

“DIVINE STRENGTH GIVES DIVINE SPEED”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
