NEVER FORGOTTEN

NEVER FORGOTTEN Isaiah 49:13-23  Devotional:- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (V. 15) NKJV Delays in some situations of life could sometimes make one feel forgotten. This could make anyone feel neglected and hated. Have you ever been in a situation where everyone was served but you alone were forgotten? This could bring a big embarrassment. But God cannot make such a mistake. Before He began serving, you were the one in His mind. His mind is filled with the memory of your love.  The scripture we read today says, even if a mother forgets to nurse her child, which I think is impossible, God said He cannot forget you. If a woman, for example, is far away from a child which has not been weaned, two of them will not find it easy. The baby will soon be crying, and the mother’s breast will soon be heavy and painful. Friend, God can never forget you. That is why He said He ...

TIME OF CELEBRATION

 TIME OF CELEBRATION

2 Samuel 6:11-23
Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV

As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate.

It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death.

Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. It is a trick of destruction. Push behind you whatever reason for that Sorrow (Philippians 3:13-14). Join everyone to celebrate, eat whatever God has provided with thanksgiving. Put on whatever God has given you with joy, and be among God’s children to celebrate. Refuse to be locked in any position of religion. Be out to celebrate with God’s children, and your joy shall come.

Declaration: Lord, I entered into my season of celebration from now on.
“HE WHO CHOOSES TO CELEBRATE IN THE LORD WILL! ALWAYS HAVE ENOUGH REASON TO CELEBRATE”
