GIFT AND GRACE

GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). If you don’t know that you have any of this gift, it is because you have not care...

JOY IN EATING

 JOY IN EATING

Jeremiah 15:11-21
Devotional:- “Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts” (V. 16) NKJV

The word of God is so rich that it is like an encyclopaedia you can refer to find information that will answer all the questions in your heart. There is nothing in life that doesn’t have answers in the Word of God. So a man who has access to this great treasure and knows how to make use of it effectively will live a life of joy and rejoicing because nothing will be a problem for him to solve.

All of us knows the importance of food to the body, much more is the importance of information to our Souls. It is the kind of information you feed your mind with that determines almost everything about your life. That is why the word of God say we shall not live by bread that feed the body alone but by every word of God (Luke 4:4).

Jeremiah sees the word of God as food to be eaten daily. Beloved, you have access to the word. Make it a habit to eat it daily. This is because it is the food that strengthens us in the Holy Spirit that is in us. That is why Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word of God (Luke 4:4). Be strongly committed to daily taking the word, and your joy will be daily.

Prayer: Lord, feed me daily with your word.
IT IS RISKY START A DAY WITHOUT THE WORD”
