  SHARING YOUR LIFE MESSAGE 1 John 5:6-13 Devotional:- “He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son” (V. 10) It is important we know that when we become believers we also become God’s messengers. God want to speak to the world through you (2 Corinthians 2:17). As messengers of Christ we must be willing to share the gospel wherever we find ourselves. Our life messages have four parts. Your life message includes your testimony. This is the story of how Christ has made a difference in your life (1 Peter 2:9). True witnesses are to simply reporting what happen to them or what they saw. These are all about; what my life was before I met Jesus, how I realized I needed Jesus; how I committed my life to Jesus, the difference Jesus has made in my life. 2 Corinthians 13:1-10
Devotional:- “Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you-unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?” (V.5)AMPC

At such a time like this every one who desires to fulfill their destiny in life should evaluate themselves. Since life is about fulfilling your purpose, goal or destiny, it therefore becomes possible to measure where you are in the race of your life. The enemy often tries to make this time a period of sorrow for so many people. They will look back and see their poor performances. This will then make them break down to sorrow. But this is a negative approach to evaluation.

Evaluation is to help you look critically into your state of achievement in the year. It helps you discover where you are in the pursuit of your race. It will help you see where you fall and what makes you fall. And it will also make you see where you’ve progressed and why.

This will go a long way to show you what and what not to pay attention to in the New Year if you intend to fulfill your destiny and achieve your goals. So take time in such a period like this to evaluate yourself. You should evaluate your work with God. You should evaluate if you are growing in the Lord or not. You will see the opportunities you have missed and how not to do so again. But don’t forget to thank God for all your achievement in the year so that the coming year will be greater. Peace!

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
