  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). I Samuel 1:7-20

Devotional:- “And she said, "Let your maidservant find favor in your sight." So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad” (v.18) NKJV


For any believer to triumph in this world, the major strength needed is faith (1 John 5:4). When faith is at work, all power must submit their strength. Faith is the strength that can draw on the power of God (Matthew 9:20-22). It demoralises the power of the enemy. It is the mystery behind great success and achievement on earth. An exploit in any field is going to be impossible without faith. Sometimes one gets embarrassed by how some people cannot exercise faith. Even when a minister had just finished praying for them, they were still full of doubt and weeping. This is the reason why many remain in their sorrow.

The woman we read about today was also a woman of sorrow for many years. The man of God spoke the word of God to her; she believed and was no longer sad, and her miracle baby was given to her. Joy is the evidence of true faith. A man of faith will experience deep joy, and where you find joy, faith can grow.

Actually, joy is a product of faith. It is always our faith that brings God into our lives, and God brings the atmosphere of joy. A sorrowful woman is a doubtful woman, and doubt will increase sorrow. If you want to start seeing the power of God in your life, you need to grow a life of faith, which makes you believe and celebrate every word of God as the truth, no matter what. Joy is the womb where true faith can grow; create it in you.

Prayer: Lord, give me joy to grow my faith.
“WHEN THERE IS NO JOY, FAITH WILL BE DEAD”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
