  NEVER FORGOTTEN Isaiah 49:13-23  Devotional:- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (V. 15) NKJV Delays in some situations of life could sometimes make one feel forgotten. This could make anyone feel neglected and hated. Have you ever been in a situation where everyone was served but you alone were forgotten? This could bring a big embarrassment. But God cannot make such a mistake. Before He began serving, you were the one in His mind. His mind is filled with the memory of your love.  The scripture we read today says, even if a mother forgets to nurse her child, which I think is impossible, God said He cannot forget you. If a woman, for example, is far away from a child which has not been weaned, two of them will not find it easy. The baby will soon be crying, and the mother’s breast will soon be heavy and painful.  GRATITUDE


Malachi 2:1-5
Devotional:- “if you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send curse upon you, and l will curse your blessings. Yes I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me.” (V. 2) NIV

In such a period like this one of the things God expects from you and me ls that we should be grateful unto Him. It is a great thing that the Lord has kept us to See the end of another year. You need to know that countless number of people have been swallowed by death in the year. Even if many things are yet to be where you expected them to be, death will never be a better option for you and your family. God has kept you because He still has a good plan for you. He still sees a great future ahead of you. So be grateful.

In the scripture we read today God expected the priest of which you are one (I Peter 2:9) to be grateful unto Him but they did not, so He cursed their blessings. May your blessing not be cursed? You can now see the reason why many labour in vain.

Friend, put aside all your challenges and give thanks to God. Call your family together and offer thanksgiving prayers unto God. Thank Him for every little thing He has done for you and your blessings shall no more be cursed but blessed. Then your new year will be with increase of God’s blessing (Psalm 67:5-7) and your life shall progress tremendously.

Prayer: Lord, give me a thankful heart

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
