HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). THE CHILD JESUS

 THE CHILD JESUS

Luke 2:41-52
Devotional:- “And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them” (V. 51) KJV.

Contrary to the right principle of life, the young people of this generation have started embarking on what may not profit their future. God’s Word say honour your father and your mother that it might be well with you and that your days may be long (Ephesians 6: 1-3). But very many young people of this generation have began to take to a life of dishonoring their parents and other elderly ones in the society. They think talking abusively and beating elderly ones is a way to shine in life. But little do they know that they put curses upon themselves. This is a fulfillment of the scripture (1 Timothy 3:1-2).

Friend, one of the lessons of this season is that we should honour our parents and elders among us. Jesus was in Jerusalem with His parents. But when they were living they never knew that he was not coming along. So they had to return back in search of Him. When they discovered Him, the bible says He submitted Himself unto them (v.51). Though He was the King of kings, yet He submitted to His parents- how much more we that were saved by Him. He is our example. Let us emulate Him so that it may be well with us and that our days may be long. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to always honour my parents.
