  FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD Romans 5:1-11 Devotional:- “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (V. 10)  As a kingdom citizen please known that God wants to be your best friend. This is because intimacy is part of your act of worship. It is true that God is our maker and redeemer yet he wants to be our friend. Remember we were made to live continually in God’s presence but it is sin that makes us loose that (Gen 3, Roman 3:23)  In our scripture for today we saw that it was grace through the sacrifice of the cross that gives us access to friendship with God (2 Corinthians 5:18). Our friendship with God does not mean casual acquaintance but close and trusted relationships just like the best man in a wedding.  GREATNESS 


Luke 1:26-37
Devotional:- “He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David” (v.32) NKJV

One of the strong prophecies that was spoken about Jesus was that He would be great. I have discovered with time that lasting greatness is given by God. Therefore, it becomes unattainable only by labour but by God’s favour. You hardly see anyone who doesn’t desire to be great, but greatness is life's answer to a few people. This is not because many people don’t labour for it, but because God did not approve their greatness.

I need to bring you to an understanding of how to contact true greatness. It comes through the combination of virtues called labour and favour. These two virtues come from both man and God, respectively. Man labour but God favour. Anyone can easily give himself to effective labour, but if the favour of God does not come on it, greatness may not respond.

We have a blessing in the birth of Jesus Christ. This is the prophecy we’ve read today. Friend, do you know that you and I can tap into God’s favour through this prophecy? How? It was a prophecy that Jesus would be great, and Jesus said, Whoever believes in me, what I do he will also do and even greater (John 14:12). So, He was great, and if we believe, we can claim this same virtue for our favour and be great.

Please, from now, claim it for your children, spouse, friends and yourself. “Say, l shall be great”. If you believe in the grace for greatness, begins to speak it into your family, business and ministry. Start to plan and work toward it, and you shall be great. Even if no one has been great in your family, you will be the first.

Prayer: Lord, I receive your word for my greatness.
“GREATNESS IS A PRODUCT OF LABOUR PLUS FAVOUR”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
