  PURPOSE OF HIS FAMILY Ephesians 2:14-22 Devotional:- “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” (V. 19) It is important you know that you are created for fellowship and formed for family. No one can fulfill the purpose of God alone. That is why God created a family for His children called the church. There will belong to one another forever (Rom 12:5). Your earthly family cannot continue to care for you but God has made the church a place for each of us to find love for ever. Please know that the church is not a building it is a group of people who form the body of Christ. The church is an organism and not an organization. One of the first sign of backsliding is when people start to miss fellowship. Whenever we become careless about fellowship every other thing begins to slide too. Nehemiah 8:4-12
Devotional:- “Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength”” (v. 10) NKJV

As emotional beings, it is important that we come to the understanding that when we are in joy, our strength will be doubled. is joy that promotes both mental and physical strength. No matter how physically strong a man is, when he is in sorrow, he is weak; he can be defeated. Sorrow decomposes the cells in our muscles from being able to function together.

When God’s people were given the grace to rebuild the falling wall of Jerusalem, they all came together in the strength of the Lord to build. During this time, the law of the Lord was brought and was read to them, and they now discovered what brought their ruin. This caused so much sorrow, and the people began to weep. But Nehemiah, a man of understanding who knew the evil and effect of sorrow on man’s strength, quickly cautioned them and told them that God’s joy is the source of their strength.

See, if what you need is a solution to your situation, be careful not to compound your problem by being sorrowful. The strength of your life is multiplied when there is joy. You simply become more capable of carrying on in your pursuit and assignment of life when there is joy. When there is joy, you enjoy courage mentally, and it is always demonstrated in physical strength. Choose joy from now on and you will always be strong enough.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always retain joy for my strength.
“IF YOU CAN RETAIN JOY, YOU WILL ALSO RETAIN STRENGTH”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
