  PURPOSE OF HIS FAMILY Ephesians 2:14-22 Devotional:- “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” (V. 19) It is important you know that you are created for fellowship and formed for family. No one can fulfill the purpose of God alone. That is why God created a family for His children called the church. There will belong to one another forever (Rom 12:5). Your earthly family cannot continue to care for you but God has made the church a place for each of us to find love for ever. Please know that the church is not a building it is a group of people who form the body of Christ. The church is an organism and not an organization. One of the first sign of backsliding is when people start to miss fellowship. Whenever we become careless about fellowship every other thing begins to slide too.  WISE MEN


Matthew 2:1-12
Devotional:- “And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.” (V. 11) NKJV

Up till now, in the minds of some people, givers are foolish. Some believe that people only give to bribe. Others believe that those who give especially in the house of God have been brainwashed and deceived. Others, even Christians, believe that giving is a way to support God’s work, and it is at their discretion, with no one able to push them. They choose when and when not to give and not as anyone instructs them. So, they only give as they like. They don’t listen to the message of pay your tithe or give an offering, or build for God.

The truth that this season brought us is that givers are wise men. Someone said givers give because they have faith that they will receive more than they are giving. Givers give because they know that they are better than what they have now. They give as sowing for their great expectation – That belief is on the way. They give because they have a future.

I will invite you from now to join the wise men who give. To such people, it is sowing for the future harvest. Your attitude toward giving is determined by who is the owner of your life. If you have giving your life to Christ, you will not be arguing with Him when He instruct you to give. Whoever you obey is your Lord (Matthew 7:21). Giving releases your mind to go for the coming blessing. It makes you a man and woman of exploit because of your expectation. It makes you be among the great. In a time like this, give to your pastor, parents, families and friends, and you will be wise.

Prayer: Lord, make me a good giver.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
