  WISE MEN Matthew 2:1-12 Devotional:- “And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.” (V. 11) NKJV Up till now, in the minds of some people, givers are foolish. Some believe that people only give to bribe. Others believe that those who give especially in the house of God have been brainwashed and deceived. Others, even Christians, believe that giving is a way to support God’s work, and it is at their discretion, with no one able to push them. They choose when and when not to give and not as anyone instructs them. So, they only give as they like. They don’t listen to the message of pay your tithe or give an offering, or build for God. Proverbs 12:15-25
Devotional:- “Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy” (v.20) NKJV

Two virtues often work together, and they are hardly separable; they are peace and joy. You cannot have one without the other. The moment one of them is with you, it will draw the second. This is because they are both products of God’s presence. Wherever the kingdom of God is established either in the house or office, surely peace and joy of the Lord will be present there (Galatians 5:22, Romans 14:17).

The scripture we read today said there shall be joy for those who promote peace. Jesus says Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9). And you know that God dwell in the heart of His children (I Corinthians 3:16). You also know that God’s presence commands joy (Psalms 16:11).

When you receive God’s grace for joy, peace also follows you. A sorrowful man is a dangerous man. Sorrow promotes violence in the heart of man and can easily be demonstrated. Do you want to live a peaceful life? Then chose joy. The virtue of joy in a man will always swallow discouragement and fear. It rather gives hope. This makes him maturely handle crises and bring them to peace. If you want peace in your heart or in the house, then consciously bring joy, and peace will start to reign. See, your season of rest and peace has come; now your life will gain peace in Jesus' name.

Prayer: Lord, make me to enjoy your peace and joy from now on.
“WHERE THERE IS JOY, PEACE WILL ALSO BE THERE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
