  NEVER FORGOTTEN Isaiah 49:13-23  Devotional:- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (V. 15) NKJV Delays in some situations of life could sometimes make one feel forgotten. This could make anyone feel neglected and hated. Have you ever been in a situation where everyone was served but you alone were forgotten? This could bring a big embarrassment. But God cannot make such a mistake. Before He began serving, you were the one in His mind. His mind is filled with the memory of your love.  The scripture we read today says, even if a mother forgets to nurse her child, which I think is impossible, God said He cannot forget you. If a woman, for example, is far away from a child which has not been weaned, two of them will not find it easy. The baby will soon be crying, and the mother’s breast will soon be heavy and painful. Proverbs 12:15-25
Devotional:- “Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy” (v.20) NKJV

Two virtues often work together, and they are hardly separable; they are peace and joy. You cannot have one without the other. The moment one of them is with you, it will draw the second. This is because they are both products of God’s presence. Wherever the kingdom of God is established either in the house or office, surely peace and joy of the Lord will be present there (Galatians 5:22, Romans 14:17).

The scripture we read today said there shall be joy for those who promote peace. Jesus says Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9). And you know that God dwell in the heart of His children (I Corinthians 3:16). You also know that God’s presence commands joy (Psalms 16:11).

When you receive God’s grace for joy, peace also follows you. A sorrowful man is a dangerous man. Sorrow promotes violence in the heart of man and can easily be demonstrated. Do you want to live a peaceful life? Then chose joy. The virtue of joy in a man will always swallow discouragement and fear. It rather gives hope. This makes him maturely handle crises and bring them to peace. If you want peace in your heart or in the house, then consciously bring joy, and peace will start to reign. See, your season of rest and peace has come; now your life will gain peace in Jesus' name.

Prayer: Lord, make me to enjoy your peace and joy from now on.
“WHERE THERE IS JOY, PEACE WILL ALSO BE THERE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
