  PURPOSE OF HIS FAMILY Ephesians 2:14-22 Devotional:- “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” (V. 19) It is important you know that you are created for fellowship and formed for family. No one can fulfill the purpose of God alone. That is why God created a family for His children called the church. There will belong to one another forever (Rom 12:5). Your earthly family cannot continue to care for you but God has made the church a place for each of us to find love for ever. Please know that the church is not a building it is a group of people who form the body of Christ. The church is an organism and not an organization. One of the first sign of backsliding is when people start to miss fellowship. Whenever we become careless about fellowship every other thing begins to slide too. Proverbs 12:15-25
Devotional:- “Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy” (v.20) NKJV

Two virtues often work together, and they are hardly separable; they are peace and joy. You cannot have one without the other. The moment one of them is with you, it will draw the second. This is because they are both products of God’s presence. Wherever the kingdom of God is established either in the house or office, surely peace and joy of the Lord will be present there (Galatians 5:22, Romans 14:17).

The scripture we read today said there shall be joy for those who promote peace. Jesus says Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9). And you know that God dwell in the heart of His children (I Corinthians 3:16). You also know that God’s presence commands joy (Psalms 16:11).

When you receive God’s grace for joy, peace also follows you. A sorrowful man is a dangerous man. Sorrow promotes violence in the heart of man and can easily be demonstrated. Do you want to live a peaceful life? Then chose joy. The virtue of joy in a man will always swallow discouragement and fear. It rather gives hope. This makes him maturely handle crises and bring them to peace. If you want peace in your heart or in the house, then consciously bring joy, and peace will start to reign. See, your season of rest and peace has come; now your life will gain peace in Jesus' name.

Prayer: Lord, make me to enjoy your peace and joy from now on.
“WHERE THERE IS JOY, PEACE WILL ALSO BE THERE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
