  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). JOYFUL COMPANION

 JOYFUL COMPANION 


Luke 1:37-45
Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV

We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy.

We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. As soon as Elizabeth heard the voice of Mary, the baby leaped for joy.

You therefore need to understand that the richest place you need to seek to be is where God’s children are gathering together. You will also enjoy great leaping of joy when you have the Holy Spirit. That is why David is always happy to be in God’s house (Psalm 122:1). When the Spirit of God in you meet with the Spirit of God in others, you find yourself leaping for joy. It is amazing to know that you can experience this in your house when your household is filled with the Holy Spirit. Other families may have problems, but joy will be your own lot. So, mind the people you walk with. You need to know that sorrow is contagious. Please make the fellowship of God’s house more important than others, and your life will always leap for joy.

Prayer: Lord, turn my house to a house of joy.
“WHEN PEOPLE OF THE SAME SPIRIT MEET, THERE IS A CONNECTION AND A FLOW”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
