  NEVER FORGOTTEN Isaiah 49:13-23  Devotional:- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (V. 15) NKJV Delays in some situations of life could sometimes make one feel forgotten. This could make anyone feel neglected and hated. Have you ever been in a situation where everyone was served but you alone were forgotten? This could bring a big embarrassment. But God cannot make such a mistake. Before He began serving, you were the one in His mind. His mind is filled with the memory of your love.  The scripture we read today says, even if a mother forgets to nurse her child, which I think is impossible, God said He cannot forget you. If a woman, for example, is far away from a child which has not been weaned, two of them will not find it easy. The baby will soon be crying, and the mother’s breast will soon be heavy and painful.  JOYFUL HOME


Matthew 7:21-29
Devotional:- “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock” (V. 24) NKJV
 
If Anyone wants a joyful home, they must understand that the home has to be built on a solid rock. This rock is Christ (1 Corinthians 10:3-4). It will be possible to build our home on this rock if we allow the wisdom of the word of God to be the guide of our teaching, training the children and ruling our home (Proverb 22:6).

Our home is likened to a building that has to be organized bit by bit to stand firm and strong in Christ. That is why you need to take good time to share God’s word with your family daily till it becomes their lifestyle. Don’t be deceived by the busy schedule of today’s world. Create time for your family. If you don’t do this, other negative things will. 

Please understand that all human are product of what we hear repeatedly. To raise a right family, you must share the right information with them. The word of God is not just a religious book as people think, it is the wisdom of God (Deuteronomy 4:6; Matthew 7:24). Professional or business knowledge without wisdom will still make life full of sorrow. If your children and spouse are not rightly taught, they will be wrongly taught. Watch out!

Prayer: Lord, help me to build my home on the solid rock.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
