  RIGHTEOUSNESS 2 Corinthians 5:14-21  Devotional:- “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (V. 21) NKJV It is because of the love of God that we are called the people of God today (Romans 9:25). This has created an eternal problem for the devil. In the Old Testament, many people tried to please God, but they were not able, and this brought destruction upon them. The Bible mentioned that Jesus, when He died, went to hell to free the saints (1 Peter 3:19). These are men who had lived all their lives to obey the law, yet were not able to reach the mark of righteousness. Today, the righteousness they were not able to attain, we have effortlessly attained. This is not because we are better than they were, but because we are children born in due season. WORSHIP

John 4:19-26
Devotional:- “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" (v. 24) NKJV

    For a believer to relate more and more closely with the Holy Spirit, one of the avenue that is vital is worship God. Since God is a spirit, then, you can only worship Him in the spirit. Worship is therefore only possible when we learn to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us to the father.

To worship God in spirit and in truth demands that we first understand the truth about God. The truth about God is what the Bible says about Him, because, the word of God is truth (John 17:17). The word of God tells us that God is the almighty God (Genesis-8:1). He is the God of glory (Acts 7:2). He is the father of light (James1:17). He is a wonderful and marvellous God. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the everlasting father (Isaiah 9:6; Revelation 17:14) etc. This truth then forms the basis on which you imagine God in your spirit as you behold Him with the eye of your spirit man.

Every time you worship God in spirit and truth, if you draw close to Him and He will draw close to you (Psalm 100:4, James 4:8). This makes your relationship with Him more cordial. Peace!

PRAYER: Holy Spirit, teach me to worship the father in truth

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
