HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

THE REMINDER

THE REMINDER

Isaiah 50:1-5
Devotional:- "The Lord GOD has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned” (V. 4)

One of the beautiful ministries of the Holy Spirit is that, He reminds us of definite information at the right time. The Bible talks about the bearer of a word in season (Proverbs 15:23). This is a word supplied to us to give answers at the instance of a need (Luke 21:14-15, Psalms 81:10). This is always a wonderful blessing of the Holy Spirit.

Often time, we package ourselves to speak to people something that will benefit them and make their lives to progress, but on many occasions, you just can't remember what you love to say. Sometimes, the right vocabulary is not just flowing. At such instance when you ask the Holy Spirit for help, He will remind you (Isaiah 50:4).

Some other time, you will just discover that when you are speaking, you are not just flowing. Every attempt may just be disappointing, at such times. You are not just in your good season that time. But the moment you contact the Holy Spirit for help, He will restore the flow of your tongue. Peter spoke on the day of Pentecost with the help of the Holy Spirit and the result was great. Connect with this grace form now. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to enjoy the remembrance ministry of the Holy Spirit from now.
