BECOMING INTELLIGENT

BECOMING INTELLIGENT

Isaiah 11:1-5
Devotional:- “The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord” (v. 2) NKJV

The world today like ever is in need of men and women of solution like Joseph and Daniel. Industrial revolution in the western world is a product of the demonstration of intelligence by the spirit. To be intelligent is to be able to think through to brilliant solution (1 Corinthians 2:11) It is the ability to acquire applicable knowledge. It is to have understanding of a matter.

Men like Joseph, Solomon and Daniel by the help of the Holy Spirit and their gifts were able to interpret dreams (Genesis 41:26-36). They were able to discern solution to complex situations (1 Kings 3:16-28). They were able to tell the king his forgotten dream and interpreted it (Daniel 2:14-48). They were highly needed to be part of government in the land of slavery. Joseph reign in Egypt as the Prime minister by the Spirit of the Lord (Genesis 41:38). Daniel ruled in Babylon for several years (Daniel 5:11-12). He and his friends became ten times better than all by the Holy Spirit (Daniel 1:20-21)

Friend, the same Holy Spirit is in you. All you need to do is to create quality relationship with the Holy Spirit for intelligent thoughts. Build your mind up to be intelligent by studying books of intelligent men (Daniel 2:17-19; Acts 6:3). Regularly consult the Holy Spirit in you for light and solutions (Proverbs 3:5-6). You will soon be recommended to rule. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, promote me by your Spirit to be intelligent
