FAITHFUL SERVANT  1 Samuel 18:1-5 “ So David went out wherever Saul sent him, and behaved wisely. And Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul's servants. ” (V.5) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional FAITHFUL SERVANT Support Us Pastor Remi Agbabiaka  ·  1 Samuel 18:1-5 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com One of the common routes to greatness available for most people on earth is the opportunity to voluntarily serve. But most men do not know how to use it for their lifting , so they remain slaves in hard labour. Many believe that serving is a waste . Service itself is an opportunity created by God for the lifting of men, but most people do not know how to make the most of it. In the scripture we read today is Davi...

BE THE BEST

Daniel 1:6-21
Devotional:- “And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm” (v. 20) NKJV

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of excellence. Everyone who walks faithfully with the Holy Spirit will always be the best in whatever they do. One of the assignments of the Holy Spirit is to make you the best in your family, your endeavours or even in your ministry.

To be the best is to stand out. It is to be above (Deuteronomy 28:13). It is to be particularly different (1Peter 2:9). It is to be unstoppable and to keep moving ahead of others. God by His Spirit made Abraham to be the best in his time (Genesis 21:22-23).  Isaac was the best in his time (Genesis 26:28-29). David was also the best in his time (Psalm 119:97-100). And Daniel also was the best (Daniel 1:2; 6:3)

If we are going to be the best like all these people, then we must embrace the Holy Spirit like they did. This is because the Holy Spirit gives divine ideas. He put in us the desire to achieve something glorious, He act as catalyst to the development of right and excellent attitude for possibility (Zechariah 4:6). His divine ideas make us to overcome limiting forces (Genesis 41:39-40). The second factor that will make us to be the best is the Spirit of wisdom (Isaiah 11:2-3). He helps to demonstrate the grace and the best of God in our services till we are needed everywhere and made us great. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, make me the best by your Spirit.

“ONLY THE SPIRIT FROM ABOVE THAT CAN MAKE THE BEST”

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

WAYS ON WATER Exodus 14:10-22 Devotional:- “So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” (v. 22) NKJV      The enemy's trick in the lives of so many people today is to make them believe that they have come to their crossroads and that the road has ended. So many always agree with this deceptive thought, which leads to their frustrations. The enemy makes them look at situations around them as evidence of his words. So, many people easily agree with the devil and become victims of his deceit.
