ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. He said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8). The truth is that you are gu...

OUR STRENGTH

OUR STRENGTH

Isaiah 40:21-31
Devotional:- "But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint" (V. 31) NKJV

No man can succeed without strength. The strength of life is not in the muscle, it is supplied to our mind by the spirit. This is what is called the energy of the spirit. Whenever it flows to you, it energizes you to achieve a given task. There is no man that cannot succeed and progress when strength comes.

Strength will give you understanding of your ways. It will show you implications of your actions and make you choose rightly. It will enable you to humble yourself to listen when be instructed. It will help you to learn wisdom and be wise.  Strength will energize you to take a bold step toward your goal. It will make you confront and conquer; it will also help you to be submissive for lifting.

The Holy Spirit is truly an helper within for a believer. When we learn to connect with Him by relationship, we will not be weak or disappointed. By the help of the Holy Spirit, when others are down, you will be rising up. Wait on Him always and He will renew your strength (Romans 8:5-11) Situation and circumstances of life could sometimes bring a man to a dead state even though he is alive. One of the most terrible state of life is when a man is psychologically dead. In other word, understanding is no longer flowing through him (Proverbs 21:16). He is no longer resourceful nor productive. When this happens to anyone, the Holy Spirit is the one that able to quicken us.

To quicken is to bring back to life, it is to find a spring of life again. This is done by the ministry of the Holy Spirit (Rm. 8:11). The state of deadness can be caused by many things. Yet we can always find restoration of life by the help of the Holy Spirit. That is why every believer should have a time of fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. So that nothing will be able to bring us down. When you can't connect with the Holy Spirit for restoration of life and hope, then seek counsel of men of the Spirit. When life comes deadness will disappear. Connect with the Holy Spirit today and He will heal your family life or business. Your finances will begin to flow again. Peace.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, restore life to every part of my life.
