  JOYFUL COMPANION  Luke 1:37-45 Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy. We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

1 Samuel 30:1-10
Devotional:- “So David inquired of the LORD, saying, "Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" And He answered him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all"(v. 8) NKJV

    As part of our faithful walk with the Holy Spirit, we must learn to always acknowledge Him. The word of God says “in all our ways, we should acknowledge Him” (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is when we acknowledge Him that we can consciously walk with Him.

The importance of acknowledging the Holy Spirit in us always is the fact that does not allow us to go on without Him. That put a check on our life not to go out of the will of God. That helps us to have quality walk with Him. That helps us to block out other spirit from taking advantage of us (Ephesians 4:27). That helps us to walk in the wisdom of God. That helps us to decide by the wisdom of God who can see beyond the immediate and live above human error.

Friend, the Holy Spirit will always try to be part of your life but it is when you always acknowledge Him that you are part of Him. If a man keeps going on without acknowledging the Holy Spirit, he will not know when he would have gone out into the influence of another spirit many times. This therefore demand that we are always sure that we are led by the Holy Spirit (1 John 4:1; Romans 8:14). Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always be connected to your Spirit.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
