FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

1 Samuel 30:1-10
Devotional:- “So David inquired of the LORD, saying, "Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" And He answered him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all"(v. 8) NKJV

    As part of our faithful walk with the Holy Spirit, we must learn to always acknowledge Him. The word of God says “in all our ways, we should acknowledge Him” (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is when we acknowledge Him that we can consciously walk with Him.

The importance of acknowledging the Holy Spirit in us always is the fact that does not allow us to go on without Him. That put a check on our life not to go out of the will of God. That helps us to have quality walk with Him. That helps us to block out other spirit from taking advantage of us (Ephesians 4:27). That helps us to walk in the wisdom of God. That helps us to decide by the wisdom of God who can see beyond the immediate and live above human error.

Friend, the Holy Spirit will always try to be part of your life but it is when you always acknowledge Him that you are part of Him. If a man keeps going on without acknowledging the Holy Spirit, he will not know when he would have gone out into the influence of another spirit many times. This therefore demand that we are always sure that we are led by the Holy Spirit (1 John 4:1; Romans 8:14). Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always be connected to your Spirit.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
