That is why the Bible says, “The just shall live by faith (Romans 1: 17). That means the life of the righteous is not possible without faith in God. Trusting God means total reliance upon his word, labouring in obedience to the word. Knowing fully well that God cannot fail and undoubtedly expecting and hopefully speaking in the faith of His promises. Seeing things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

1 Samuel 30:1-10
Devotional:- “So David inquired of the LORD, saying, "Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" And He answered him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all"(v. 8) NKJV

As part of our faithful walk with the Holy Spirit, we must learn to always acknowledge Him. The word of God says “in all our ways, we should acknowledge Him” (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is when we acknowledge Him that we can consciously walk with Him.

The importance of acknowledging the Holy Spirit in us always is the fact that does not allow us to go on without Him. That put a check on our life not to go out of the will of God. That helps us to have quality walk with Him. That helps us to block out other spirit from taking advantage of us (Ephesians 4:27). That helps us to walk in the wisdom of God. That helps us to decide by the wisdom of God who can see beyond the immediate and live above human error.

Friend, the Holy Spirit will always try to be part of your life but it is when you always acknowledge Him that you are part of Him. If a man keeps going on without acknowledging the Holy Spirit, he will not know when he would have gone out into the influence of another spirit many times. This therefore demand that we are always sure that we are led by the Holy Spirit (1 John 4:1; Romans 8:14). Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always be connected to your Spirit.

“INCONSISTENCY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IS EQUAL TO DISCONNECTION
