  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. HE SPEAKS

Mark 13:9-13
Devotional:- “He answered and said to them, "Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given” (V. 11)

    It is always beautiful when the Holy Spirit speaks to us. He is a speaking Spirit. Every time you ask, the Holy Spirit speaks back to you. That why it is important we recognize how He speaks. It is important we recognize His vocabulary and His ways of speaking.

When the Holy Spirit speaks, He does not speak contrary to the word of God (John 16:13). When He speaks to us, our heart will gain peace, because there is an agreement between our spirit and what the Holy Spirit speaks. (Psalms 85:8). When the Holy Spirit speaks to us, there will be a witness to it. God will always use another way to confirm His word (2 Corinthians 13:1).

All these are evidences of His voice. Note that His words are always spoken to yours spirit man. So it does not sound audible. It comes in form of a thought voice that breaks into your thought. Keep asking Him and He will keep answering you. He will always direct you to the path of peace and prosperity. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to hear when You speak to me.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
