  JOYFUL COMPANION  Luke 1:37-45 Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy. We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. HE SPEAKS

Mark 13:9-13
Devotional:- “He answered and said to them, "Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given” (V. 11)

    It is always beautiful when the Holy Spirit speaks to us. He is a speaking Spirit. Every time you ask, the Holy Spirit speaks back to you. That why it is important we recognize how He speaks. It is important we recognize His vocabulary and His ways of speaking.

When the Holy Spirit speaks, He does not speak contrary to the word of God (John 16:13). When He speaks to us, our heart will gain peace, because there is an agreement between our spirit and what the Holy Spirit speaks. (Psalms 85:8). When the Holy Spirit speaks to us, there will be a witness to it. God will always use another way to confirm His word (2 Corinthians 13:1).

All these are evidences of His voice. Note that His words are always spoken to yours spirit man. So it does not sound audible. It comes in form of a thought voice that breaks into your thought. Keep asking Him and He will keep answering you. He will always direct you to the path of peace and prosperity. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to hear when You speak to me.

“THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ENERGY OF THE SPIRIT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
